Fabulous book this, by Ray Hutton, sometime editor in chief of Autocar, quietly published in 2004 and hardly seen since. Not only does it describe with authority some of the great events in motorsport’s more distant history but the more recent history will be invaluable to anyone who has had trouble keeping track of what the FIA has been up to.
