8/80 Dry Sump JAP replica engine

Most parts for an 8/80 Dry Sump engine as built by Terry Wright for the Walton JAP. This is similar to the 8/80 JAP engine of 996cc that was originally used by Bruce Walton when he built his car in 1952. Some machining required. Perfect for Morgans or Coopers.

Noel Street lightweight speedway pattern, with large fins suit 1949 8/80 JAP twin

Crankcase
Castings, three pieces, timing cover only part machined, complete with driveside main bearing housing

Crankshaft, complete (2)
Custom made for TW by S&S complete with JAP mainshafts

Heads, aluminium, machined (2)
Very good improved reproduction, designed and made by John Thease. Suits 8/80 JAP with both forward exhausts, complete with valve seats fitted. 

Pistons c/w pins and rings (2)
Accralite, 2 x 88mm 2 new, 2 used for pattern 

Camshafts,  gears, followers (2)
Ivan Tighe camshafts complete with special profile, lift and dwell, designed and made for TW

Valves, exhaust and inlet (4)
G&S valves custom made for TW with 7mm dia stem 

Valve springs, caps retainers (4)
Porsche Carrera, lightly used, to suit the G&S 7mm valves with retainers and caps.

Rockers boxes, spring covers (2)
Original speedway parts with new castings for covers need machining, some rocker levers
