8/80 Dry Sump JAP replica
Most parts for an 8/80 Dry Sump engine as built by Terry Wright for the Walton JAP. This is similar to the 8/80 JAP engine of 996cc that was originally used by Bruce Walton when he built his car in 1952. Some machining required.

Near complete original 1949/50 JAP 8/80 dry sump engine JTOSZ/S/50860/1 as used in early Coopers
8/80 JAP twin JTOSZ/S/50860/1 rare dry sump type (recirculating oil) engine most likely built for first Cooper twins in 1949. Complete new pressed up flywheel assembly. Timing cover casting and some minormachining required. Original carburettors and magnetos included. The iron JAP speedway heads were first used by Coopers in 1948 with iron barrels then through 1949 with aluminium barrels before the introduction of the Mk1 engine in early 1950 with a new design of aluminium head and a sump added to the crankcase.
